August 23, 2008 we photographed the wedding of Lauren and David. It was magical. Fairytale sort of stuff, really! The weather, the people, the setting, the decor, the clothes, the LOVE! We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to photograph them on this special day and enjoyed working with all their friends and family. Here at b+t, we still do things the old fashioned way meaning we shoot a lot of film and things are a little slower. We shoot digital, too but when we see the film, we get goosebumps! We reviewed and edited the digital a few weeks ago and we have to say, it was some of the finest stuff we've seen. Then we got the film back (processed and scanned by our friends at Richard Photo out in LA -- they totally ROCK) and, wow. Lovely. Wish all you folks in cyberworld could see how pretty it is printed out on art paper. Lauren and David, we wish you great happiness and joy. Your pictures make us SMILE.

Here is a shot of the team evaluating an image we were shooting for a new menu for Wok Hay (set to debut in October: www.wok-hay.com). You may wonder how we get such beautiful food images -- it definitely starts with beautiful food which means a talented team! See here are reps from culinary, 2 designers, the food stylist and her assistant and my digital wizard, Zane. Wow! Lots of ideas. Can't wait to see the finished menu.
