Love is Love Farm
As part of the Restaurant Eugene shoot, we spent some time with the folks at Love is Love farm. They have an organic farm in Atlanta and provide Chef Hopkins and other folks with delicious organic produce. It was a beautiful night and a lovely spot. We loved meeting them and look forward to a return visit!
Restaurant Eugene and Co.
We spent the 5th of June with the crew at Restaurant Eugene, Holeman & Finch, and H&F Bread Co. down in Atlanta, GA. We had a wonderful time and created some beautiful images for them to use to refresh their website and other promotional materials. Headed by Linton and Gina Hopkins, these folks exude southern hospitality and their food is amazing. They treated us to an amazing lunch and a thoughtful and scrumptious snack (much tastier than my usual late afternoon snack of celery and peanut butter). We loved spending time with them and look forward to seeing the images in use. Be sure to check out their restaurants when you are in Atlanta. And if you're not in Atlanta, it's worth making a special trip. Did we mention Chef Hopkins has competed on Iron Chef, been nominated for a James Beard award and named one of Food & Wine Magazines top 10 new chefs for 2009? And he and his team couldn't be humbler!
The Smiths
The Smith family joined us in the studio for a family portrait session in early June. We had a great time getting to know them. We had a torrential downpour at the beginning of our time together so we did some shots on white and black in the studio. Once the storm blew over, we headed out to the greenbelt for some outdoor shots. Great family!
Ruby Tuesday Feature Menu
We did a new feature menu for Ruby Tuesday at the end of May. It will be for brunch -- something they are testing in select markets. We're pretty excited about the offerings. Everything looked great. The food was styled by Peter Glander, drinks by Ken Lennox and art direction by the always fabulous Catherine OBrion. We had a great time and can't wait to see the finished piece. Till then, enjoy the outtake to the left. A shoot in the studio always makes for fun juxtapositions!
